This course provides practical training in maintaining accurate and systematic financial records within a business environment. It is designed for learners progressing in bookkeeping and finance roles and focuses on developing essential accounting skills required for day-to-day financial operations.
The course covers the complete process of recording financial transactions, including the use of source documents, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and preparation of trial balances. It also introduces cash and bank management, bank reconciliation, and basic financial statement preparation. Learners gain exposure to essential accounting tools such as Excel and basic accounting software used in modern workplaces.
By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the skills needed to maintain financial records independently and will be prepared for entry-level roles such as Accounts Assistant and Bookkeeper.
