Intended Learning outcomes:

After completing the course, the student will be able to:

Learners must achieve a minimum of 240 credits to be awarded level 5 HND.
The learning and teaching strategy for HND/C Business Accounting and Finance degree are explicitly designed to contribute to the achievement of intended learning outcomes which are clearly expressed at programme and module level.

The general approach to enabling the learning process for most modules involves:

  • Case studies
  • Class discussions
  • Presentations

Due to the wide variety of modules included in this programme, there may be different approaches adopted that are appropriate for a particular module. At the start of each module, tutors will provide a scheme of work which details the module structure, assessment and learning and teaching approaches to be adopted.

The College has developed a Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle, through which the students can access lecture notes and engage with staff and other Business Accounting students.

The tuition fee is £6,165 per annum. Students on this course may be fully funded by the Student Loan Company.
