Programming or reprogramming of your chip keys can be done in just minutes from your vehicle using just the key itself.

This is very essential to have a duplicate key at present times. Since the world has turned digital and technology is growing higher and higher there is nothing remaining constant. since keys are digitally programmed there is a face where it can lead to damage of key by falling on maybe the chip getting damaged itself by extreme weather conditions and many more reasons. To overcome this we need to have the basic knowledge of reprogramming or programming a chip key. a simple process can be initiated and applied by following these simple steps given below.

Even if the key is physical is the same and matching to the original key it will not work. The key should match both physically as well as digitally.

And also not that these steps can vary from one brand to another.

Step 1

Insert your chip key into the ignition of your vehicle and turn the key to the “On” position.

Step 2

Leave the key in the “On” position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds, then turn it back to the “Off” position.

Step 3

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 two more times, leaving the key in the “On” position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds a total of three times. Turn the key to the “Off” position after the third time.

Turn the key back to the “On” position to complete the programming sequence. You can now use the newly programmed key to start your car.

This basic knowledge should be acquired by everyone so that they can overcome their difficult situations easily.
